Sculptures & Reliefs
As a stone sculptor, I encounter a material that is older than any human memory.
The stone tells of geological metamorphosis – of heat, pressure, and slow change.
These natural processes are the starting point of my work.
When I work on the stone, I see myself as part of an ongoing transformation. I continue the geological transformation on a human level and free the form that is waiting to become visible.
For me, metamorphosis is not just a formal process, but an existential principle. Like the stone, we also change – slowly, sometimes with resistance, but sustainably.
My sculptures are created through pure manual work, without the use of machines.
Below is a small selection of my works. If you would like to see more or touch the stones, please visit me in my studio.
